“Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.” 1 Peter 3:15-16

Next Step This Week ___ I will share my story with at least one person who does not have a relationship with Jesus.
- In what ways have you had to prepare yourself? Maybe you’ve prepared yourself for a competition, an event, a presentation, or something else.
- When you are having a conversation, what questions do you feel most prepared to answer? Are they about sports? Pop culture? Politics? What questions do you feel least prepared to answer? How will you prepare? Read 1 Peter 3:15-16.
- Practice telling your story. Write it down following this simple outline: What was my life like before I became a Follower of Jesus? What happened that caused me to make the decision to follow Jesus? How is my life different today?
