Dr. Jeffrey Allen Love
1 Peter 4:10-11
“Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11
Spiritual Gift: given by the Holy Spirit and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be used in the ministry of the church.
“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

“Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” Romans 12:4-5
- Use your gifts well.
“Use them well to serve one another…do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies.” 1 Peter 4:10b-11
“In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well…If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well…” Romans 12:6-7
“‘(Jesus) In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.’” Matthew 5:16
