Christmas At The Movies

“As a result of the apostles’ work, sick people were brought out into the streets on beds and mats so that Peter’s shadow might fall across some of them as he went by.” Acts 5:15 (p.834)

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20 (p.896)

  • Every Day, With Every Choice, I Cast A Shadow, Whether I Realize It Or Not.
  1. Ask: What shadow am I casting through my influence?

“For they are like a breath of air; their days are like a passing shadow.” Psalm 144:4 (p.478)

  • Align priorities with the shadow you want to cast.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33 (p.738)

  • Act upon God’s impulses and take the risk.

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” Acts 20:24 (p.849)

  • Avoid anything that keeps you from serving God.

“Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior.” 2 Timothy 2:16 (p.915)

  • Accept the fact that this is never-ending work.

“Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.”
1 John 3:2 (p.942)

My Next Step This Week: ____ I am following Jesus faithfully and intentionally throughout 2025 to ensure I cast a shadow of His grace, love, and hope on others.

Series Memory Verse: “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 (p.523)
