Malachi 3:8-12
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33 (p.738)
Manager – oikonomos – overseer, one who has charge of the affairs or household, an office of trust and confidence.
Part 1 – Embracing The Power Of Being A Christ-Centered Family.
Part 2 – Care For Your Family’s Heart To Cultivate Purity.
- Putting God First Leads To Financial Stability.
- Trust in God’s promise of provision.
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 (p.901)
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy—full of greed and self-indulgence!” Matthew 23:25 (p.754)
- Assess your financial priorities.
“Should people cheat God?…You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
Malachi 3:8-10 (p.729)
“‘Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,’ says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. ‘Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,’ says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” Malachi 3:11–12 (p.729)
My Next Step This Week: ___As I manage all God has given me, I will thank Him for His provision and ask Him to make me a faithful manager.
