Ignite Your Life – Part 4: On Purpose

Luke 19:1-10

“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10 (p.801)

  • Loving God And Living For His Purpose Is What Life Is All About.

“But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!” Revelation 2:4 (p.950)

  1. Prioritize your relationship with God above all else.

“He (Zacchaeus) tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd.” Luke 19:3 (p.801)

(Jesus) “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.” Matthew 22:37 (p.753)

  1. Listen for His voice in everything you do.

“When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. ‘Zacchaeus!’ he said. ‘Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.’ Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy.” Luke 19:5-6 (p.801)

”My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27 (p.819)

  1. Always be an example of His love.

“Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!’ Jesus responded, ‘Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham.’” Luke 19:8-9 (p.801)

“And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.” Titus 2:7 (p.917)
