January 2-3, 2021
Dr. Jeffrey Allen Love
“Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (p.868)
”As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, crying out, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’” Luke 17:11-13 (p.799)
- I Glorify God With One Voice.
1. Join together.
”He looked at them and said, ‘Go show yourselves to the priests.’ And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.” Luke 17:14 (p.799)
”So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (p.876)
2. Welcome everyone.
“One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, ’Praise God!’ He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.” Luke 17:15-16 (p.799)
”Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.” Romans 15:7 (p.868)
3. Give praise and glory to God.
“Jesus asked, ‘Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?’ And Jesus said to the man, ‘Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.’” Luke 17:17–19 (p.799)
”Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth.” Psalm 117:1 (p.467)
