Devotional Day 35: Anchored for Eternity

Scripture:
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

Reflection:
As we close these 35 days, think about the journey we’ve been on. We’ve looked at the Trinity, the power of Scripture, the gift of Salvation, the family of the Church, and the symbols that help us remember. It’s a lot to take in. You might feel like you still have a long way to go in your faith.

But here is the final promise to rest your heart on: God finishes what He starts. He didn’t save you to abandon you. He didn’t adopt you to orphan you. From the waters of baptism to the bread and cup, every symbol points to His unwavering commitment to you. You are anchored in a truth that is stronger than your emotions and deeper than your doubts. As you move forward from today, you don’t walk alone. The Father loves you, the Son saved you, and the Spirit is guiding you home. You are held. You are loved. You are His.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for these weeks of renewal. Thank You for beginning a good work in me. I trust You to complete it. Keep me anchored in Your truth and filled with Your love as I walk forward into the life You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
