God 3:16 – Part 2: The God Who Heals You

Acts 3:1-16

“Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.” Acts 3:16 (p.832)

  • God Is A God Who Heals.
  1. Ask for Jesus’ healing touch.

“But Peter said, ‘I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!’” Acts 3:6 (p.832)

Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14 (p.932)

  1. Approach Jesus with faith.

“And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.” James 4:3 (p.932)

“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’” Matthew 11:28 (p.742)

  1. Always give God praise.

“He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.” Acts 3:8 (p.832)

“Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.” Hebrews 13:15 (p.929)
