During our At The Movies series, all messages are live only and will not be posted because of the movie’s copyright.
Ephesians 6:10–13
“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, ‘You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” John 8:31–32 (p.817)
• Two Kingdoms, One Choice, Your Move.
“Be strong…stand firm…standing firm.” Ephesians 6:10–13 (p.898)
Paul assumes three things:
• The battle is real.
• The enemy is active.
• You can still be standing when it is over.
“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 (p.898)
- Spot the two kingdoms in your everyday spaces.
“Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11 (p.898)
- Block the enemy’s strategies.
“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 (p.898)
- Choose God’s winning Kingdom.
“Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” Ephesians 6:13 (p.898)
“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” John 8:36 (p.817)
